Photo of the Day #49 – June 27, 2012

This was a quick one I did tonight while running to the bank with Krista. It’s was almost entirely black out, but with a long exposure I could pull out all the hidden colour in the sky. The clouds where also moving pretty quickly which caused a kewl painted effect.

This shrunk down version sure has a lot of artefacts, go look at the full size. I should start exporting at 100% instead of 60%.

1) I have to upload one new, original photo to the blog every day.
2) The photo has to be taken on that day. No using photos taken in previous days.

Photo of the Day #9 – May 16, 2012

This photo has a little drama to it. This is shot from the front steps of Notman House looking down towards the lake. The church tower is centred in the distance and framed by the Opus Hotel on the left and kewl spiral staircase on the right. Overhead is an approaching thunder storm turning everything black. Quite ominous.
